The Release Of Elvis Presley Biopic Has Been Postponed To June 2022

Warner Bros has announced that the release of Elvis Presley biopic has been postponed till June 2022.

The biopic which is titled ‘Elvis’, is directed by Baz Luhrmann and co-produced by Catherine Martin and Gail Berman, features actor Austin Butler as the King of Rock and Roll and Hollywood veteran Tom Hanks as Presley’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

The much-awaited movie also have stars like Olivia DeJonge acting Presley’s wife, Priscilla Presley, Helen Thomson as Gladys Presley, Elvis’ mother, and Richard Roxburgh as Vernon Presley, Elvis’ father.

The film was earlier scheduled for release on November 5 this year, but will now be released in theatres on June 3, 2022. The push is to allow the movie to get a traditional theatrical run.

The movie is described as focusing on Presley’s rise to stardom, with a particular focus on the star’s 20 years relationship with Parker.
