The Nigerian veteran actor, Victor Olaotan popularly known as Bid Daddy, is dead.
Confirming the news of his death on Friday, 27th August, 2021 was his wife, Julia Olaotan, who said that Victor died on Thursday night in Lagos State.
She expressed her gratitude towards the support received for the treatment of her husband while at an hospital in Turkey.
With tears she said: “Victor Olaotan has passed on, I don’t take the help rendered us for granted. Sadly, Olaotan had to come back to Nigeria because we could no more raise the money to continue treatment, so the hospital sent him back. I’m grateful for my husband’s life and I know all is well.”
“Despite the challenges, God has been good to me and my family. He was there for five years,” she added.
Victor survived a ghastly car accident in October, 2016 but suffered a traumatic brain injury.
The Tinsel actor, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, celebrated his 69th birthday at an hospital in Turkey as he battled for his life following the brain injury he suffered.
It was reported in 2019 that Femi Otedola, donated N30m to the actor to support his treatment.
