Ntsiki Mazwai’s Reactions To DJ Fresh And Euphonik Sack

The two South African OAPs, Dj Fresh and Euphonik, sack from 947FM based on rape allegation leveled against them has gathered reactions from Ntsiki Mazwai.

The duo are under investigation for rape after a woman alleged that they drugged and raped her along with three other women 10 years ago.

Confirming the case, the Gauteng police said a rape case was opened against them at the Sunnyside police station on January 13.

The radio station, Primedia, said they had taken the decision to terminate their contracts in the best interest of the company.

Geraint Crwys-Williams, the interim chief executive of Primedia Broadcasting, said: “This decision does not reflect a view on the veracity of any allegations against either Euphonik or Fresh.

“Rather it priorities Primedia Broadcasting’s business imperatives. We believe that this decision is in the best interest of our company and our various stakeholders.

In her reaction, Mazwai, who is known for her gender-based violence often engages with her social media followers about rape, took to Twitter to share her views.

She wrote: “Kanene Euphonik popularized and normalized calling me dirty…..Kanene we remember Bonang. Kanene.”

“You started a trend of bullying me that lasted for years…….. Because I stood up for the girl you hit…..I will never forget.

Though DJ Fresh’s name couldn’t mentioned in the tweet as there was a court injunction issued in July, 2020 that refrained Mazwai from such after she called him a rapist on social media, but it was clear she was talking about what recently transpired between them.
