Warner Bros. has announced that “Godzilla vs. Kong” will debut on 31st March, simultaneously in movie theaters and on the streaming service HBO Max.

The entertainment company recently brought forward the film’s release date by two months, from 21st May to 26th March, and now another shift is taking its premiere to 31st March – a week shift.

The movie will hit the international scene, where HBO Max is not available, before the 26th March scheduled for North America.

The delay in the release of “Godzilla vs Kong” was a result of the news that MGM was postponing James Bond sequel “No Time to Die” from April 2 to Oct. 8. Sony too is postponing “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway,” from April 2 to June.

The film is produced by Legendary Entertainment and directed by Adam Wingard.

Issue on the film is that Legendary Entertainment was blocked my Warner Bros. from selling the movie to Netflix with a bid of $250 million. But both parties have resolved the issue and are moving on with its release.

The action-packed movie which will see two creatures going against each other in an epic battle.
