Bankulli was Dbanj’s manager during the Mo’hits era but the relationship didn’t last as they parted ways due to irreconcilable differences when the Kanye West ‘Good Music’ deal came through.
The duo had in 2019 gone public with their beef, but Bankulli on 13th March via his Instagram handle shared a video of their reconciliation, and wrote: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.”
Bankulli had worked with Beyonce and Jay Z. He had writing credits on Watch The Throne, Jay Z’s collaboration with buddy, Kanye West.
He also wrote and performed on Beyonce’s album, The Lion King: The Gift.
Dbanj, who is a Nigerian music superstar, has won several music awards, including the awards for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009, Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, as well as the Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards.
